A documentary film about natural treatments for cancer will be screened on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 19, at the Fairfield Public Library.
"Cancer is Curable Now," will be shown at 2 in the Rotary Room of the main branch, 1080 Old Post Road, and is part of the library's Health Matters Series.
The program is free, but advance registration is required because seating is limited, the library said.
The film features 30 holistic-health proponents who have worked in the field of alternative cancer treatments, the library said in a news release.
It follows Marcus Freudenmann and his wife, Sabrina, a naturopathic doctor, during a three-year trek around the globe meeting with doctors, scientists, researchers and writers.
To register for the film or to see more information about the event, visit www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org or call the library at 203-256-3160.
