Los Lobos coming to StageOne

Fairfield Theatre Co. will host a performance by Los Lobos, the Tex-Mex band famous for its 1980s cover of "La Bamba," at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at StageOne, 70 Sanford St. Doors open 7 p.m.

The three-time Grammy-winning band recently released a new album, "Tin Can Trust." The group has recorded with artists such as Pop Staples, Tom Waits and Elvis Costello, according to a news release. The band has produced almost 20 albums.

The five-member group was founded in 1973.
