When it came to tackling a community-service project during spring break, Fairfield Ludlowe High School's freshman lacrosse team's attitude was hardly lax. The team last weekend cleaned litter from the rear of the school's student parking lot and gathered debris left on adjacent Sturges Hill by winter sledders. Standing before the trash they collected, some of the players seem to be signalling they're No. 1 as grounds keepers. Photo: Fairfield Citizen/Contributed / Fairfield Citizen
