Make-A-Wish Foundation's Connecticut chapter will hosd an "As Long As I'm Singing" fundraiser with big band and jazz singer Michael Patrick Dominick at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, at StageOne, 70 Sanford St. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Dominick, the chapter's communications manager, will sing standards and classics from the era of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Bobby Darin into the realm of Billy Joel and other musical giants, according to a chapter news release. He will be joined by special guests, including wish recipients from both Connecticut and the Hudson Valley.

Dominick and his team of performers have raised more than $20,000 for Make-A-Wish Foundation over the past decade through his recurring role as Dean Martin in the self-produced "A Night at the Sands" to various Broadway stage musical productions. Dominick's younger brother, Matthew, was granted a wish in 1993 to go to Disney World by the Philadelphia & Susquehanna Valley chapter at 3 years old after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. Matthew is now 23 and cancer-free for 12 years,

Proceeds from the event will be donated to Make-A-Wish Connecticut, whose mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Tickets are $25, $20 for FTC members. For more information, Visit www.fairfieldtheatre.org.
