A Bridgeport man was charged by Fairfield police Friday on a warrant linking him to a Nov. 14, 2012, burglary on Park Drive.

Francisco Garcia, 32, of Linley Street in Bridgeport, was charged while at Bridgeport Superior Court with third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny. He was arraigned in court that day.

Garcia broke into the Park Drive home and stole $4,000 worth of jewelry that he pawned the next day at a Boston Avenue pawnshop.

Garcia was arrested for burglary and larceny by Fairfield police on Feb. 15 for break-ins at a home on Brookview Avenue on Oct. 22 and a Woodside Circle home on Nov. 2.

During an interview with Garcia in February, he allegedly admitted to police that he entered the Park Drive home on two different occasions last year, according to the report..
