Man charged with assaulting wife

Matthew Snow, 48, of School Street, was charged after an argument with his wife Sunday afternoon, police said.

Snow and his wife were in their home's driveway, arguing over family issues, when Snow pushed her down, according to the report. She had injuries to her forearm and hip, police said.

Snow was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct and was released on a $5,000 bond. He was scheduled to have appeared Monday in Bridgeport Superior Court.
