Jeremy Mitchell, 23, was arrested on a warrant Friday at Bridgeport Superior Court charging him in connection with a May 30 burglary at the Fairfield Motor Inn, 417 Post Road.

He was also charged in connection with a burglary on Winnepogue Drive that was reported May 29.

Mitchell, of Quinlan Avenue, Bridgeport, was charged with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny. His bond was set at $10,000 and he was arraigned that day.

In the motel burglary, police said Mitchell first attempted to enter the business through the locked front and rear doors before forcing his way in through an unlocked rear window. He took several hunder dollars from the cash register, police said.
