David Maldonado, 30, of Campfield Drive, is facing charges after police said he sent over 30 text messages and emails in one day to an ex-girlfriend last week.
Maldonado was charged with second-degree harassment, threatening and breach of peace.
Police said Maldonado was told repeatedly by the victim to stop trying to contact her. He would also leave letters at her home and workplace, according to the report.
The couple has not been in a relationship since early 2011 and the woman said she feared for her safety, according to the report.
Bond was set at $10,000 and Maldonado was scheduled to have appeared Friday in Bridgeport Superior Court.
