Man faces disorderly charge after dispute with wife

Jonathan Dean, 42, of Flintlock Road, was charged with disorderly conduct after police said he grabbed the phone from his wife's hand during an argument and smashed it on the floor.

According to the report, Dean and his wife were yelling at each other Friday night, when his wife first went upstairs because she did not want to argue in front of the children. She then went into the kitchen to call 911, when Dean allegedly grabbed the phone away.

He was released on a promise to have appeared Monday in Bridgeport Superior Court.
