Man faces drug charges after fight outside Seagrape

Two men are facing charges after a fight in the parking lot of the Seagrape bar, 1144 Reef Road, just before 1 a.m. Saturday.
One of the two, Giancarlo Amado, 21, of Cleveland Avenue, Bridgeport, also was charged with drug violations after police said a search of his car turned up marijuana, drug paraphernalia and two bags filled with 300 steroid pills.
Police dispatched to the scene were told that one of the two possibly had a gun, but no weapons were found.
Amado was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession and illegal distribution of prescription drugs and breach of peace. He was also charged on a warrant from Clinton police for failure to pay or plead. He was released after posting a $5,500 bond and is scheduled to appear Sept. 24 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
Alex J. Nankervis, 23, of Reading Road, Trumbull, who police said was fighting with Amado, was charged with breach of peace and released on a promise to appear Sept. 25 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
