A man from West Wellesley, Mass., issued an infraction for disorderly conduct late Thursday when police said he refused to strop yelling and swearing at a police officer outside the Seagrape cafe on Reef Road.
Christopher Kelly, 22, was upset because bar staff would not let him inside about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the report. He was told the bar has the right to refuse service, police said, who noted that Kelly appeared to be intoxicated and was slurring his words. The officer was unable to reason with him, according to the report.
He allegedly continued yelling profanities even after being told several times to leave the area, police said.
Kelly eventually walked to Lantern Point, police said, but then returned to the bar and once again began yelling at police, at which time he was issued the infraction.
