Man vs. teens in snowball showdown

Police were called to Warren Avenue on Tuesday afternoon after a resident reported that as two teens were shoveling near his home, one of them threw a snowball at him and then cursed him.

The teen, however, told police that the older man had thrown a snowball at him first, and also brandished a pipe in a threatening manner. The man told police he had only intended to scare the teens.

All three were warned to keep the peace, but no arrests were made.
