Mary A. Kelly, of Fairfield, wife of the late Thomas F. Kelly, died June 15 in the Jewish Home for the Elderly.

Born March 15, 1922, in the Bronx, N.Y., the daughter of the late John and Marie Callahan, she had been a Meriden resident for 22 years before moving to Fairfield.

Survivors include three children, Virginia Hertenstein and her husband Walter of Cincinnati, Ohio, Barbara Kelly and her husband Richard Seres of Bridgeport and Thomas Kelly of Washington, D.C.; five grandchildren, Walter, Paul and Nicholas Hertenstein, Erin and Rose Kelly; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Jackie Lambert of Yardley, Pa., and nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a grandchild, Rigsby Kelly.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 20, in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, June 19, from 4 to 6 p.m., in the funeral home.
