The Pequot Library will screen film versions of the classic American plays, "Death of a Salesman" and "A Raisin in the Sun," as part of a three-part program, "Masculinity, Race and the American Dream."

Following the screenings, a discussion will be led by Benjamin Gott, a middle school English teacher and dean at Greens Farms Academy in Westport.

"Death of a Salesman" will be shown on Friday, June 6, at 3 p.m. at the library, 720 Pequot Ave. in Southport. "A Raisin in the Sun" will be screened Friday, June 13, at 3 p.m. and the discussion of both films will follow.

The series is free and reservations are not required.
