Students in Sacred Heart University's Master of Arts in Communication program will host the inaugural SHU Media Exchange on Tuesday, May 29, in the University Commons on the schools Fairfield campus at 5151 Park Ave. The event will begin with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by a panel discussion at 7 p.m.

The forum's goal is to encourage an open dialogue between the public and media professionals through a moderated panel and networking event, according to a news release from the school.

John Seigenthaler, former anchor of NBC Nightly News and current CEO of Seigenthaler Public Relations, will moderate a panel of five public relations professionals.

There will be a Q&A period after the panel discussion, followed by a networking reception. The event is free and open to the public. For information or to register, visit www.shumediaexchange.com or email shumediaexchange@gmail.com.
