Medicare-fraud talk at senior center

An expert on Medicare fraud will give a presentation at the Fairfield Senior Center Wednesday, Dec. 12, and offer tips on how Medicare recipients can protect themselves.

The free program is at 10:30 a.m. Reservations are required.

The speaker, Trish Simmons, is a social worker who is certified by the Southwest Area Agency on Aging as a Medicare fraud prevention specialist.

Her presentation will cover how Medicare recipients can examine their Medicare quarterly statements for errors and irregularities.
