Two Bridgeport men have been charged with breaking into a Tunxis Hill Cutoff home in August.
Geraldo Garcia, 46, of Scofield Avenue, was charged with conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary and Joaquin Suarez, 37, of Madison Avenue, was charged with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and attempt to commit third-degree larceny.
Both were charged Wednesday at Bridgeport Superior Court and each man was held on a $50,000 bond.
According to the police report, when the resident came home that day, he saw a man standing in his living room. He chased the suspect out of the house, and the suspect fled the scene in a car. The homeowner followed the car onto Interstate 95 where it was lost, but not before taking a picture of the car's license plate. The car was traced to Garcia, police said.
