A day after railroad traffic in southwestern Connecticut was disrupted by a stuck bridge in South Norwalk, new delays face rail travelers this morning.

Metro-North Railroad reports that because of power problems in the Park Avenue Tunnel en route to Grand Central Terminal, service in both directions from 6:30 to 7:20 a.m. is likely to be delayed from 5 to 10 minutes.

Longer delays in rail service -- from 10 to 20 minutes -- should be anticipated from 7:30 to 9 a.m., the railroad reports.
