‘Model Lotto’ set for Butler’s Fairfield Library fashion show
Updated 1:09 pm, Friday, August 21, 2015
Models interested in showing the latest fashions by Fairfield designer Jennifer Butler — at her annual show benefiting the Fairfield Public Library — are invited to enter the library’s first Model Lotto.
Two models will be selected from among the entries to walk the runway at the Sept. 17 fashion benefit where Butler’s fall line will be unveiled. The show will take place in the main library, corner of Old Post and Post roads, with refreshments and hors d'oeuvres at 7:30 p.m. and the runway show at 8:30 p.m.
Tickets are $50 in advance; $60 at the door. Tickets can be purchased through Jennifer Butler at 203-256-5768 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Those interested in entering the lotto can fill out an application at either main library or the Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road. Two models will be selected via a Sept. 1 drawing, according to library officials.
Butler’s design business is based at the Sportsplex, and proceeds from the annual show have benefited the library for several years.
