"Momoirs" -- stories about mothers -- will be the topic of a free program at the Fairfield Public Library on Monday, April 7.

The program is planned at 7 p.m. in the Memorial Room of the main branch at Post and Old Post roads.

Four authors will read their contributions to the anthology "Momoirs: I'll Give You Something to Cry About." The authors -- Gayle Gleckler, Eileen Grace, Lisa Maxwell and Linda Howard Urbach -- also will conduct a mini-writing workshop and discuss what the library said was the value of creating a momoir.

Urbach wrote "MoMoirs: The Umbilical Cord Stops Here!," a theatrical production, and runs writing workshops through the website www.MoMoirs.com.

To register or for more information, visit www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org or call the library at 203-256-3160.
