Police are investigating another string of car break-ins reported last week.

Three cars, parked in a townhouse lot on the Fairfield University campus on North Benson Road, were entered overnight June 24. The cars were unlocked, and cash and a pair of sunglasses taken from one of the vehicles. Police and campus security are reviewing security video for suspects.

A Bonney Terrace resident reported that on the same night a GPS unit was taken from an unlocked car, while a window was smashed on a Reef Road car, and an iPod and GPS unit were stolen.

Meanwhile, on White Oak Road, a hedge trimmer was taken from the back of a landscaper’s vehicle and a backpack blower taken from a vehicle parked in the Home Depot parking lot at 541 Kings Highway Cutoff.
