More surveillance gear swiped at BJ's

Police are investigating the theft of another security system from BJ's Wholesale Club, 40 Black Rock Turnpike, the third set of surveillance equipment reported stolen in the last two weeks.

The theft Saturday was reported to police on Sunday when store employees found an empty box that had held the equipment.

The stolen contents included an eight-channel security system with high-definition DVR and cameras, and was valued at $499.

A suspect in the theft was recorded by the store's surveillance video, according to the report.
