Home Depot, 541 Kings Highway Cutoff, on Monday reported another theft of more than $3,000 worth of power tools, and store officials believe the same man is responsible for the recent incident and one last Friday.

In the latest incident, a man wearing a gray hat and dark pants and driving a tan Toyota, loaded up $3,490 worth of power tools into a shopping cart and left without paying, police said. The shoplifter was recorded on surveillance video, police said.

On Friday, the same suspect is believed to have taken $2,971 worth of power tools. He is also suspected in similar incidents at Home Depot stores in Bridgeport and East Haven.
