Another rash of car break-ins was reported to police Thursday morning.

The first call came from a Webb Road resident who said a window of a car parked in the driveway had been smashed and a $250 GPS unit, a $100 pair of ear plugs and $4 in change had been taken. Damage to the window was estimated at $500.

A locked car at a Melville Avenue home was also broken into and a black gear bag stolen.

On Berkeley Road, a homeowner reported an unlocked car was entered and a spare set of keys and a pair of prescription sunglasses, worth $100, were taken.

Miller Nissan, 930 Kings Highway East, was also a break-in victim, according to police. Two cars at the dealership were broken into by intruders who smashed windows. About 20 CDs, worth $150, were reported missing.

A Marlborough Drive resident reported that his unlocked car was entered sometime Wednesday night, and $4 in change taken. Items were also tossed around inside the car.
