Mother, daughter face disorderly conduct charges

A mother and daughter were both charged with disorderly conduct after the 16-year-old reported an altercation she had with her parent to a counselor at Fairfield Warde High School last Friday, police said.

The altercation involved pushing and shoving, but both Maribel Smith, 40, of Bennett Street, and daughter denied any injuries, police said

Both were released on a promise to appear June 11 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
