Mysterious circle of pumpkins on Sasco River Lane

Fairfielders are in a giving, but eerie, mood.
First it was a High Street resident who recently reported to police that "thousands of doughnuts" were left on her front porch, and then a bag of Halloween candy was dropped off a few days later.
The sweet-toothed donor has not been identified.
Now, a Sasco River Lane resident has told police dozens of pumpkins mysteriously appeared in her back yard.
The homeowner called police Wednesday to report that about 30 differently sized pumpkins were arranged in a neat circle in her back yard. She said she heard her dog start to "bark like crazy" around 2 a.m., but thought nothing of it at the time. In the morning, she found the unexpected pumpkin delivery.
