Notre Dame High School in Fairfield will host a Spring Open House on Sunday, April 27, at 2:30 p.m. for prospective students (sixth-, seventh- or eighth-grade students or transfer students) and their families.

Tours will begin at 2 p.m., followed by a program at 2:30 to give students a look at Notre Dame's academic, athletic and extracurricular programs.

Prospective students can also meet the principal, faculty members and current students.

Current seventh-grade students can also arrange to "shadow" a Notre Dame freshman, by calling the Admissions Office at 203-372-6521.

A seventh-grade edition of the HSPT, the entrance exam used at most area private high schools for students applying for grade nine admission, can also be taken by current seventh-grade students as a practice test to allow students to become familiar with the test and its format.

There is a $40 registration fee for the test, which will be offered at Notre Dame on Saturday, May 10, at 8 a.m.

Registration is required by contacting the Admissions Office.
