When is it time for older drivers to give up their car keys?
A discussion and screening of a documentary film on the topic is planned for Thursday, Sept. 18, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Pequot Library. The free program designed for senior citizens and their adult children, the library said.
The program, "Aging and Driving: A Complex Combination," will include presentations by a group of experts on issues facing older drivers.
The film "Older People Driving" will be screened and a panel of experts on the topic will speak.
Speakers include a driver-evaluation specialist from Norwalk Hospital, a physician, a rehabilitation specialist, an elder-issues attorney, transit official and others.
The program is sponsored by AT&T, the library said.
