Our campaign letters policy: Fairfield residents get priority

During the state and federal election campaigns, the The Citizen's priority is to make space in its letters columns available for Fairfield residents -- above all others -- to express views on candidates and issues.

To ensure our limited letters space is devoted to Fairfield residents, campaign letters from residents of other communities may be rejected.

Letters may be no more than 500 words and must include the writer's name, full address and daytime phone number for verification of identity. Only the name and town of residence will be published.
