A 33-year-old Bridgeport man was ticketed after an officer saw him running down the middle of the road around 3 a.m. Friday.
Justin Lazaro, of North Avenue in Bridgeport, was issued an infraction for reckless use of the highway by a pedestrian. When the officer saw Lazaro, he asked him if he needed any help. According to the report, Lazaro replied, "I ain't doing anything illegal. I ain't got no warrants."
The officer told Lazaro to move out of the middle of the road, but the report indicated that Lazaro refused because he felt he wasn't doing anything wrong. When ordered by the officer to stop, he said Lazaro continued to back pedal away.
He subsequently was issued the infraction.
