Young gardeners will hear a story, sing a song and plant a garden on Friday, June 6. Children ages 2 through 5 accompanied by a parent, grandparent or caregiver, can plant a square-foot garden at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library.

Amie Guyette Hall, a certified square-foot gardener, will guide the planting event starting at 10 a.m. Siblings are welcome. Children can continue to check on the progress of the garden throughout the summer at the library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road.
