Pequot Library and Fairfield Public Library on Saturday will present a "Horizon Wings, Birds of Prey Rehabilitation & Education Program," in conjunction with the town's One Book, One Town 2013 book, "Wonder."

The kindness-themed program, advocating compassion toward animals, will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Pequot Library, 720 Pequot Ave.

Horizon Wings, a non-profit wildlife rehabilitation center for birds of prey, will show four large birds of prey no longer able to survive in the wild because of their injuries.

Beamer, a turtle with an artificial leg, will also be featured at the program.

Presenters will talk about their individual stories of survival and the organization, according to a news release.

Call 203-259-0346, ext. 18, for information.
