A woman told police Sunday that furnishings she had put outside her former apartment on Division Avenue to await a mover were stolen instead.

The incident reportedly took place June 9.

She said the possessions to be picked up included two "old-style" television sets, a treadmill, a queen-sized mattress, a filing cabinet, a washing machine and dryer, twin bed frames, two blue couches, the "bottom half of a recliner" and a "hollowed out bureau."

The mover she hired told her that went to the address and, as he arrived, saw someone in a gray pickup truck had loaded up the furnishings and was pulling away.

There has been no sign of the possessions since then, the woman told police.
