Sacred Heart University will present "Jimmy Stewart & Friends," a one-man show by comedian and impressionist Rich Little, at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, in the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts, 5151 Park Ave.
The show, held as part of the university's American Legends Series, will feature Little's impressions of over 25 celebrity voices, including Cary Grant, George Burns, Ronald Reagan, Katharine Hepburn, Frank Sinatra and John Wayne. Together, the voices take audiences into the life of actor Jimmy Stewart, according to a news release.
Named "Comedy Star of the Year" by the American Guild of Variety Artists, Little is the perpetrator of nine comedy albums, three HBO comedy specials and the special "Rich Little's Christmas Carol" with "W.C. Fields" as Scrooge, "Humphrey Bogart" as one of the ghosts and "Paul Lynde" as Bob Cratchit.
A mimic of more than 300 voices, Little continues to tour throughout the world, the release states.
