The Center for Family Justice, a nonprofit organization that works with victims of domestic and sexual assault, will host a benefit event on Friday, March 7, at the Bridgeport Holiday Inn, 1070 Main St.

"Rockin' Around the Decades: A Night in Funky Town" will feature Band Together CT, a group that performs to raise funds for nonprofit organizations.

The Center for Family Justice, formerly called the Center for Women and Families of Eastern Fairfield County Inc., changed its name in January to better reflect its services in Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull for those touched by domestic and sexual violence and child abuse. The organization's headquarters is in Bridgeport, with satellite offices in Fairfield and Monroe.

Event co-chairwomen are Catherine Gallagher and Shaun Amberg, both of Fairfield.

The event begins with an after-work cocktail party at 6 p.m., followed by the main event from 7 to 11 p.m., and includes dinner, a show, an auction and dancing. There is a cash bar.

Tickets are $75, and can be purchased online at www.cwfefc.org/events.html or by contacting Sarah Lubarsky at slubarsky@cwfefc.org or 203-334-6154, ext. 31.
