Sacred Heart University student Edmund A. Coxe, 18, of New Jersey, faces drug charges after police said the residence hall director of his dorm saw him sell marijuana to another student in the dormitory hallway early Sunday.

Coxe was found with 0.14 ounces of marijuana in small glassine bags, a scale and a grinder, police said.

He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal manufacture, distribution or sale of dugs, and possession of marijuana. He was held on a $260 bond and is scheduled to appear Feb. 21 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
