St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School has planned what it calls its largest fundraiser of the year. "Basket Bonanza 8 -- A Night on Bourbon Street" will take place on Saturday, March 24, at the parish center.

Daytime and evening activities are planned, culminating with a raffle and auction featuring items such as VIP treatment at a Yankees-Mets game in April, a Maryland golf outing and other entertainment, organizers said.

A raffle pre-sale event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. is free and open to the public and will include games, activities and raffle baskets. Raffle tickets will be available for $2 each.

From 7 to 11 p.m., an evening of cocktails, food, the raffle and auctions is planned. Tickets are $40 in advance; $50 at the door, sponsors said.

Among the items available are:

Four tickets to the April 3 Yankees-Mets game, including a VIP tour of Citi Field, dinner for four at James Beard House in New York City and transportation.

A round of golf at Owings Mills, Md., with overnight accommodations.

A Kindle Fire.

Tickets to "Late Night with David Letterman."

The parish center is at 1719 Post Road.

Tickets are available by at the school's main office or by calling 203-255-0556.
