Schools Superintendent David Title's 20-year-old son dies

Jack R. Title, the 20-year-old son of Superintendent of Schools David Title, has died.
The young man's death was announced at Tuesday night's Board of Education meeting in explanation of the superintendent's absence from the session.
A funeral service took place Wednesday in Congregation Beth Israel in West Hartford. Burial will be private.
The Title family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in their home at 637 Rock Ridge Road.
Jack Title is survived by his parents, David and Laurie Title; a brother, Russell; two sisters, Sarah and Robin, and his grandmothers, Betsy Russell and Sally Title.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Special Olympics of Connecticut, 2666 State Street, Suite 1, Hamden, CT 06517, or to Yale New-Haven Hospital, Office of Development, P.O. Box 1849, New Haven, CT 06508.
