Fairfield Theatre Co. will host a performance by Mishka and Anuhea, singer-songwriters from Bermuda and Hawaii, respectively, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at StageOne, 70 Sanford St. Doors open at 7 p.m.

The duo will each bring "their own summery brands of reggae, folk rock and pop melodies," according to a news release.

Born Rylee Anuheake'alaokalokelani Jenkins, Anuhea is a pop folk singer from Hawaii who released her first self-titled album in 2009. Her songs have been on the top of Billboard, iTunes and reggae charts and she has toured the world, the release states.

In April 2010, Anuhea played with Jack Johnson, Ziggy Marley and Taj Mahal at the Waikiki Shell's Kokua Festival. She has won two Na Hoku Hanohano Awards for Contemporary Album of the Year and Most Promising Artist. Her latest album, "For Love," was released on Valentine's Day.

Mishka, a native of Bermuda, plays reggae resembling a combination of Peter Tosh, Jimmy Buffet, Bob Dylan and the Police mixed with real roots reggae acts like Culture, Marley and Burning Spear, the release states.

Tickets, $25 in advance, $29 at the door, $3 off for FTC members, may be bought at the box office at 203-259-1036 or at www.fairfieldtheatre.org.
