St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Fairfield and the Old Post Road Association will hold its third annual pumpkin-carving event from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, on St. Paul's grounds, adjacent to Town Hall Green.

Participants may choose their own pumpkins, have them cleaned on site and then create their own designs or choose from designs provided. They may carve their own pumpkins or have them carved on site, according to a release.

Pumpkins will be available for sale for $15, which includes cleaning, design, carving and preservation spray. There will be a $5 handling fee for participants who bring their own pumpkins.

The event will include refreshments for sale by the St. Paul's Youth Group.

Proceeds will support the group and beautification of the Old Post Road area, the release states.
