The historic rectory of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will be transformed for the inaugural Designer Showhouse on the Green later this month, benefiting both the church and Operation Hope.

The showhouse at 690 Old Post Road — featuring the talents of more than 15 interior and landscape designers — will be on display from Sept. 19 to Oct. 25.

The oldest parts of the structure date to 1834, with major renovations in 1860 and 1890.

Designer Showhouse on the Green will open with a preview party on Friday, Sept. 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets to the event cost $175.

The general admission hours will be Tuesdays through Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be closed Mondays. Daily admission costs $35 and includes a showhouse journal. The house also will have a boutique and an information center about Operation Hope, the agency that addresses the needs of homeless and hunger in town.

Honorary chairwoman of the showhouse is Ellie Cullman of Cullman & Kravis.
