Storm-tossed appliances reported stolen on Rowland Road

Police are investigating the theft of appliances from the yard of a Rowland Road home.

The resident told police Monday that the appliances have been left in the front yard, behind a fence, since Superstorm Sandy. There was also a sign posted on the fence: "Do not take." Someone, police were told, did.

Reported missing are a washer and dryer, two grills, a microwave oven and a stove.
