An herbs expert will make a presentation on preserving them for winter on Saturday morning, Oct. 6, at the Fairfield Woods branch of the fairfield Public Library
The program is planned at 10:30 a.m. at the branch, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road, and is free and open to the public.
Gene Banks, former owner Catnip Acres Herb Nursery will discuss simple ways to preserve herbs for use in cooking and aroma therapy during the inter months, the library said.
