A slide lecture on a recent tall-ship voyage in the Pacific Ocean is planned Thursday, March 15, at 7 p.m. in the Rotary Room of the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

The program is free and open to the public, but registration is necessary, the library said.

In the 7 p.m. lecture, Michael Jehle, executive director of the Fairfield Museum and History Center, will chronicle his voyage aboard the Barque Picton Castle, a three-masted tall ship based in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada.
