Fairfield Teen Theatre, a summer drama program sponsored by the Parks & Recreation Commission, will hold auditions and registrations Monday and Tuesday evenings, May 19 and 20.

Auditions for the group's Main Stage and Pre-Teen Players programs are planned from 6 to 9 p.m. both evenings in the Fairfield Warde High School.

Registration for the less-intensive Magic Box program is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. both evenings at Fairfield Ludlowe High School.

Participants must be Fairfield residents between the ages of 13 and 19, and they need attend only one audition or registration session, the theater group said. They should be prepared to sing a short song of their choice.

All three troupes will stage productions in July or August, and all three require a commitment to rehearse, the group said. Some actors who audition for the Main Stage program may be cast in the Magic Box production.

The theater said it also is seeking volunteers backstage crews. Hours are flexible, the theater said, and experience is helpful, but not required. Teens are needed for set construction, stage crew, art crew, running crew, make-up crew, and costume crew.

The Main Stage group will produce "Little Women." The Magic Box group will stage "All Shook Up."
