The Fairfield Teen Theatre's Magic Box program will present two evening performances and a matinee performance of Disney's "Cinderella Kids" Friday, July 19 through Sunday, July 21, in the air-conditioned Fairfield Woods Middle School auditorium.

Performances are scheduled:

Friday, July 19, at 8 p.m.

Saturday, July 20, at 8 p.m.

Sunday, July 21, at 2 p.m.

The show is an adaptation of the classic Disney animated film, in which Cinderella is mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters and forbidden from attending the royal ball. With help from her mice friends and her Fairy Godmother, Cinderella is whisked away to the ball, meets the prince and falls in love.

Songs in the show include "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" and the classic "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo."

The 23-member Magic Box troupe has been rehearsing scenes, songs and dances for three weeks, as well as gathering props and costumes, theater officials said in a news release.

The Bridgeport Theatre Company's Eli Newsom is the director and musical director.

Also working to stage the show are assistant director Kayla Muldoon, stage manager Colleen Granville, props manager Hogan VanDerHayden, choreographer Cassie Carroll, lighting director Tommy Anderson, sound designer Joe Boerst and set designer Doug Frawley.

Tickets at the door are $10 for students and senior citizens; $12 for adults. All seats are reserved.
