Feras Halabi, 18, of Pierce Street, has been charged in connection with a September vandalism incident that shattered 14 skylights in a Mason Street building, causing $50,000 in damage to a classic car parked inside.

Neighbors of the Mason Street building told the owner and police that they saw several juveniles climb onto the roof, and they believed the teens lived on Pierce Street. The investigation led police to Halabi, who was picked up on a warrant Monday at Fairfield Warde High School, where he is a student, according to the report.

Halabi was charged with first-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal trespass, and held on a $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear Dec. 16 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
