A tenor who has sung for three American presidents and two Russian presidents will be the featured performer during Guest Artist Day at St. Emery's Church on Sunday, June 22.

The tenor, David Finley, of Waterbury, will perform with the church's choir at the parish's regular 9 a.m. Mass, St. Emery said in a news release.

Guest Artist Day is set aside to thank the church's choir for its contributions and give them the opportunity to perform with a musical guest, church officials said.

The Mass is free and open to the public, parish officials said, and a reception with refreshments will follow, according to the release.

A veteran of many opera roles, Finley has performed globally and is on the music faculty of Sacred Heart University, parish officials said.

St. Emery's is at 838 Kings Highway East, at the corner of Biro Street. Street parking only is available, and the church recommended arriving early.
