Thanksgiving Day Breakfast helps Operation Hope

Chip's Family Restaurant will host a Thanksgiving Day breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 28, from 6 to 11 a.m., with all proceeds benefiting the Operation Hope homeless shelter and soup kitchen. The restaurant, at 525 Tunxis Hill Cutoff, will offer pancakes, two eggs, bacon or sausage and coffee or tea for a fixed price of $12 per person.
"Operation Hope is honored and grateful to Chip's for their generosity and community spirit. We give thanks to the management and staff at Chip's who are donating their time and energy to helping with this event," Carla Miklos, executive director of Operation Hope, said in a release.

Operation Hope addresses the basic needs for food and shelter, as well as offering long-term solutions to hunger and homelessness, including affordable housing, life skills training and personalized clinical support. No reservations are required for the breakfast.
