Theatre Fairfield to open 2013 season at university

Theatre Fairfield, Fairfield University's resident production company, will open its 2013 theatrical season with a production of "How I Learned to Drive" this weekend.

The student production of the 1998 play by Paula Vogel will be shown at 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25; 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan, 26; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at the school's PepsiCo Theatre, 1073 North Benson Road.

The play tells the story of Lil' Bit, a young woman reflecting on her life and the relationships she has had, according to a release. It focuses on one relationship in particular, her relationship with an older man.

Tickets, $7 general admission, $5 students, are available through the Quick Center box office at 203-254-4010 and online at www.quickcenter.com. They may also be bought on the day of performance at the theater but are subject to availability.
